We are always interested to hear from talented Sustainability Engineers & Architects.

Interested in joining us? And our 4 day week?

Our team works a four-day week, typically Monday to Thursday (35 hours). We focus on getting the work done, with flexibility built in for family and life outside work.

Ciarán McCabe

We started with a nine-day fortnight before moving to a permanent four-day week in 2024. It has been revolutionary for the team, not only for wellbeing, but for our focus and performance.

For us, wellbeing has to be more than a policy on paper. It has to be built into how we work, and the four-day week has become a fundamental part of the ethos at Passive Dynamics.

Benefit:

Four focused days.

A genuine three-day weekend, every week.

Attracting the best talent:

The four-day week sets us apart, attracting people who value high performance and a more balanced way of working.

Wellbeing & Ethos:

CPD is supported, and the four-day week, alongside our right to disconnect, helps create a more sustainable way to work.

Sustainability can be demanding, particularly when you’re balancing design work, site work and project deadlines. We have a focused team and processes that are really well established to make the four-day week work.

The team are efficient and work to a high standard Monday through Thursday, then have three days to properly switch off. By the time Monday rolls around, we’re fresh, motivated and ready to go again. For us, the four-day week supports both high standards and staff wellbeing.”
