Sustainability Engineer

Specializing in Low Carbon Building Performance

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Early-stage stakeholder engagement with client teams to shape embodied carbon performance
  • Engage in client meetings / workshops
  • Perform life cycle carbon assessments using One Click LCA
  • Develop technical reports
  • Upskilling in terms of research of new low carbon technologies / construction techniques.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Experience in the construction industry and an understanding of the construction process.
  • Experience in using life cycle carbon assessment tools such as One Click LCA.
  • Ability to work within a team environment as well as being proactive and self-sufficient to meet deadlines.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Windows applications.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation & communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and to be able to multi-task and prioritise when necessary.
  • High level of energy with lots of drive and enthusiasm.

Requirements

  • Degree in or Post Graduate qualification in architecture, construction engineering building physics, mechanical/ electrical/ building services engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in the practical application of building physics, building science principles, modelling, design or specification of buildings.
