LEED Gold achieved for 33,000 sqm Pharmaceutical Warehouse

We achieved LEED Gold for a 33,000 sqm pharmaceutical warehouse occupied by the Uniphar Group. Commissioned by our client Sandymark, this state-of-the-art facility delivers tangible sustainability improvements for its occupants, including enhanced air quality, rainwater harvesting and solar energy systems.

By reducing embodied carbon and optimising operational efficiency, we’ve set a new benchmark for sustainable design in the pharmaceutical and logistics sectors.

Key project highlights include
  • Bespoke Warehouse & Distribution Certification, tailored for sustainability and optimised for operational efficiency
  • Advanced Indoor Air Quality Testing, ensuring a healthier, more comfortable environment for occupants
  • Rainwater Harvesting System designed to maximise water conservation and efficiency
  • Solar Panel Integration, significantly reducing the building’s reliance on non-renewable energy
Sustainable Material Selection, minimising embodied carbon and setting new standards for eco-friendly construction

From the outset, our goal was to go beyond just the basic requirements, driving environmental stewardship through every aspect of this project.

This project exemplifies our mission to push the boundaries of sustainable design in the pharmaceutical and logistics sectors—two critical industries for Ireland’s economic and environmental future.
