John Treanor Achieves Chartered Engineer Status

John Treanor, Director at Passive Dynamics, has been awarded Chartered Engineer (CEng MCIBSE) status through CIBSE.

Recognising a high level of technical competence, professional judgement and accountability in engineering practice.

Chartered Engineer status is an internationally recognised professional registration, awarded following assessment of an engineer’s competence, experience and commitment to professional standards.

The Chartership process provides an opportunity to put that knowledge and experience to the test, with successful registration providing independent professional recognition of an engineer’s ability to apply technical knowledge, exercise judgement and take responsibility for complex engineering decisions.

For John, the achievement is a strong reflection of the standards he brings to his work and an important milestone in his continued professional development.

“Chartership was a good opportunity to stress test my experience and technical knowledge and have it independently recognised.

There’s a strong culture of continuous learning at Passive Dynamics, and our four-day week gives us more time and flexibility to invest in our own development.

It’s good to have reached the CEng milestone. The focus now is on continuing to develop that expertise as the technical challenges around building performance and sustainability evolve.”

said Director, John Treanor.

The achievement also reflects the wider direction of Passive Dynamics as we continue to strengthen technical leadership and expertise across the business.

Several members of the team are currently progressing towards Chartership, supporting our commitment to maintaining high professional and technical standards across our work.

Congratulations to John Treanor on this well-earned achievement.
